We believe that healthier families build stronger communities
– which is why we have a heart for helping single moms, families and vulnerable children. Our programs are designed to help parents get the classes, counseling, job training and Biblical foundation they need to provide for their families. Kids can also enjoy stability and educational opportunities through chapel services, classroom instruction and daycare, and Bible studies to learn about the love of Jesus.
142 beds in 28 rooms
equipped for single or family occupancy, with overflow capabilities as needed during extreme weather conditions. First-time guests may stay for 14 days, with two-week stays allowed for subsequent visits. All guests receive case management and if case management goals are set, extended stay will be given to accomplish the goals.
3 wholesome meals daily
along with personal-hygiene items and suitable clothing.

Nursery/preschool
for children ages 6 months to 6 years, staffed by trained educators.
Basic medical care provided
by an onsite nurse and Swope Health Services.

Family Center
For single women or parents with children who need shelter and assistance with life necessities.

- All guests in the Family Center are provided:

- Introduction to longer term life recovery programs and tours of New Life Center.
Family Center Services
These programs offer long term support and services that help guests overcome hardships and work toward a better life.
1. 14 days Family Center Guest service to reestablish safety, order, care and connection to work on stability in life.
2. Bridge service to equip and engage in eliminating obstacles for a stable life.
3. Bridge to Program service to prepare to enroll in New Life Program to work on life-changing transformation through Christ-centered paths of recovery.

New Life Center
New Life Program (NLP)
Offered to families and single women, the long-term NLP focuses on whole-person health and rehabilitation. NLP provides the program participants foundational classes in health recovery, life skills, and biblical studies. NLP offers Individualized case management, counseling and one to one discipleship and participants create their own personalized healthy living plan. The focus of NLP is a life-changing transformation through Christ-Centered paths of recovery with the goal of stable housing and most viably secured income to live and thrive in life. NLP participants live in New Life Center, a private apartment style living space with shared kitchen and dining rooms.
Learning Center
Offers educational and vocational advancement to participants of NLP. Utilizing quality curriculum, partnerships and technology, the Learning Center staff assist in developing personalized educational goals to prepare for vocational opportunities, earn a High School Diploma or equivalency, achieve greater quantitative and literacy skills and computer skills and other identified goals.
Mission Transitional Living Program (MTLP)
Graduates of NLP are able to apply for transitional living in a Mission-owned apartment. The MTLP assists graduates in budgeting their resources while they are working and/or pursuing education. Participants pay a nominal program fee and utilities. The program fee is held in reserve and returned to the participant at the end of the program in order to be used as a deposit to secure their own housing.
Community New Life Program (CNLP)
Case management and guidance is provided for neighbors in the community who have their own homes but struggle to remain independent. They have access to the Learning Center and may participate in life-skills and Bible classes at the Family Center.
