Estate planning may be the single largest act of stewardship most of us will ever perform. For more information about estate planning – including how to include City Union Mission in your will – contact us at (816) 329-1475
or by clicking here
and selecting the “Will & Estate Planning” inquiry type.
You may also want to consider making a legacy-type gift to City Union Mission through the donor-advised funds we have established with the National Christian Foundation Heartland.
The Vanderberg Ministry Foundation
funds the launch of new programs or expands current programs, and supports costs that would not be covered by the general fund.
The Capital Legacy Foundation
funds special capital projects to expand and improve City Union Mission’s shelters and programs.
The Staff Education and Advancement Fund
helps meet training goals and ensures staff quality health insurance or assists with other unforeseen expenses.
The Children’s Scholarship Fund
helps poor and homeless children attend City Union Mission’s Camp, Camp CUMCITO, where they will enjoy a week of fun and growth. This fund allows for improvements to the camp as well.
The Program Graduate/Client Stabilization Fund
aids clients re-entering the work force as they encounter transportation needs, rent deposits funds, debt relief, vocational training/education, legal fees, and other needs related to living independently in their own homes.
