Current Needs
Your donations of food, clothing and other critical items are important in making sure our guests have the essentials they need to feel cared for and loved.
We welcome and appreciate donations of any of the following foods, household goods, clothing or other supply needs listed below.

Material Donation Pickups
We can schedule pickups for large donations of three or more barrels or one or more pallets and large furniture.
Please call (816) 641-5656 to arrange for pickup. If no one is available, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

What:
Any items that can be utilized by our facilities, or for low-income families in the community, are directed there first.
How:
Remaining donated items are then sold at our City Thrift Stores.
All proceeds go to our general fund to provide necessities for those we serve.
City Union Mission strives to utilize donations where most effective.
Where:
Donations are best received at our City Thrift Locations; or you can utilize one of our Donation Bins located near you.

*All prepared or perishable food, including raw proteins, cooked meals, produce, refrigerated goods and frozen items can only be received from commercial sources. We cannot receive these items from individuals, churches, service clubs, and etc. It must be a commercial retail store or permitted restaurant and the prepared food must be delivered to the Mission’s Food Warehouse by an employee of one of these institutions.
