To be eligible for infirmary placement, patients must be able to live completely independently, including possessing the ability to climb stairs. No direct bedside care is provided. Patients are required to check in with Medical Services on a daily basis. Infirmary residents are allowed to stay inside around the clock. To request placement in the infirmary, please call (816) 474-9380, ext.1465. City Union Mission’s nurse is not on duty on the weekends. In the event you need help at that time, please ask to speak with an authorized staff member to get authorization for placement.
