The Christian Life Program (CLP) is a residential program which takes a holistic and personalized approach to rebuilding lives physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. This position will assist the CLP Administrator with administrative duties, help minister to the practical and spiritual needs of the men in the program, and help maintain and improve the environment of the Christian Life Center.

Opportunity Farm: Maintenance - Warsaw, MO

Opportunity Farm is a dual-focus ministry serving both the Christian Life Program (Christ-centered, biblically-based, long-term drug and alcohol recovery ministry) and Camp CUMCITO (Christian camping ministry). This position will maintain, in good working order, all Farm and Camp facilities and equipment, and rolling stock. Assisting Facilities Administrator in completing maintenance tasks.

Provide nutritious, attractive meals while using donated items first and then purchased foods in an economical manner. Maintain Health Department standards for cleanliness in kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work well with clients, staff, and volunteers; must have a heart for the ministry.
  • Must be willing and able to supervise clients, while at the same time train them for future employment.

New Life Center Resident Manager PT

Share an apartment with another resident manager on site and be provided meals with guests and staff. Maintain a safe and secure facility which houses the New Life Program. Provide compassionate orderliness throughout the New Life Center, particularly overnight. Conduct security patrols during the night, as well as work closely with other City Union Mission security personnel. Oversee participants of the New Life Program, assuring cooperation with program policy and procedures and proper treatment of facility. Promote Jesus Christ through behavior and seek opportunities to minister to the spiritual needs of guests. Compensation for this position is room and board.
